With the shattering of an ancient oath, a band of heroes cast a powerful, nameless fey back into the frozen tundra of the Feywild. A new oath was made that day, and the heroes now bear the mark of that unknowable master of winter, the binding seal of a promise to free him from his curse. Bound by fey magic to uphold the oath, the band journeys across the continent of Vehel seeking the knowledge and power to break a curse that has stood longer than any empire.
But the lands they travel have grown restless. A plague of undeath spreads across the border marches of the Verdant Lands. The goblin clans of the Barbican Mountains grow ever more aggressive and ambitious. A cult has suddenly arisen in kingdoms all across the continent, counting nobles, merchants, and aristocrats of all varieties among its ranks. And far to the north, the frost giants rumble as they turn their eyes to the warm, southern lands.
An endless winter approaches.

Corun (Goliath Warden / Barbarian) - Alex
When the goliath tribe of the Makaan was taken by slavers, Corun took up the mantle of their fallen warden. Bearing the power of Vehel's harsh, northern winter, he now tracks his lost family and friends across the continent of Vehel.
Moldarin (Half-Elf Bard / Fey Pact Warlock) - Andi
Once a keeper of fey lore among the eladrin, Moldarin found himself unwelcome in his home after making a bargain with a powerful fey entity. Though he regrets where the decision has led him, he continues to seek out the lore and power of the fey.
Ikasha (Razorclaw Shifter Druid) - Marc
Though she only left her home in the Heartwood to undergo a rite of passage, Ikisha was forcibly diverted from that course. She has taken the opportunity to explore the world and leave her responsibilities behind.
Aven Blackheart (Human Rogue / Barbarian) - Charon
Aven left his home of Artisport in the company of his thief-catcher mentor, but quickly found himself sidetracked by the promise of wealth and treasure. He fell in with the wandering heroes and, seeing an opportunity not only for financial gain but the chance to help people as well, decided to stay with them for a while.
Arthymn (Deva Avenger) - Andrew
A deva deeply influenced by his past lives, one in particular, Arthymn has sought out the adventure, heroism, and companionship of his ancient memories. Time will tell if he has found it again with the strange company in which he's found himself.
Lorcan Farwander (Elf Ranger) - NPC
Lorcan is a perennial wanderer, forever out of place and, thanks to his recent imprisonment by the fey, possibly out of time. He seeks little more than new vistas and the satiation of his wanderlust.
Lyeur (Drow Rogue) - Inactive
No one really knew anything about Lyeur, which seemed to be just how he liked it. His unannounced departure from the group leaves a few questions unanswered, particularly regarding his part in fulfilling the oath.
